Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy monitoring system which can reduce a load on a person in charge of energy-saving, and surely monitor energy consumption of electricity or the like.SOLUTION: An energy monitoring system comprises: a measuring instrument; an energy measurement device; a transmission wireless device; and a portable terminal such as a smart phone. The system monitors energy by communicating with a management server in a data center. The portable terminal of the system comprises: wireless means for wirelessly connecting with the energy measurement device via the wireless device; data collection means for reading measurement data from the energy measurement device; measurement data display means for displaying at least current measurement data by numerical values and a graph; and monitoring alarm means which estimates the maximum demand power, and if it is determined that the estimated maximum demand power exceeds a predetermined value, raises an alarm.
