Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain energy saving and rationalization of an apparatus for heating forging stock.SOLUTION: The apparatus for heating forging stock, with a rotary preheating furnace and a straight line furnace arranged side by side, includes an introducing means for introducing high temperature exhaust heat from the straight line furnace into the rotary preheating furnace, and an apparatus for insertion of furnace to supply the straight line furnace with a preheated forging stock discharged from the rotary preheating furnace. Alternatively, the forging stock heating apparatus is constituted to arrange the rotary preheating furnace on top of the straight line heating furnace and to introduce high temperature exhaust exhausted from the straight advancing type heating furnace, into the rotary preheating furnace above by the introducing means so as to be used as a heat source of the preheating furnace.
