Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device by which a motor may be protected from an overcurrent even when a current flowing through the motor is increased due to variation of motor load or the like.SOLUTION: A motor control device comprises: a voltage control part 1 for driving a motor M by controlling a voltage to be applied to the motor M so as to attain a voltage value in accordance with an input voltage instruction V; restricting means 2 for restricting the voltage instruction V input to the voltage control part 1; and a current detecting part 30 for detecting a current value Iref of a current flowing through the motor M. The restricting means 2 determines, on the basis of the current value Iref detected by the current detecting part 30, whether or not the motor M is in a high current state and whether or not the motor M has been restored from the high current state to a normal state. When it is determined that the motor is in the high current state, the restricting means 2 restricts the voltage instruction V input to the voltage control part 1, and when it is determined that the motor has been restored from the high current state to the normal state, the restricting means cancels the restriction of the voltage instruction V input to the voltage control part 1.
