DISK PLAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure suited to thinning of a disk player.SOLUTION: The disk player which conveys a disk 11A inserted into a disk insertion slot while holding it between a conveyance roller and guide bases 5L and 5R, includes: guide base retraction means 8, 2L and 2R for retracting the guide bases 5L and 5R to the outside in the diameter direction of the disk 11A during disk playing. The disk player further includes: a stopper 41 for locating the disk 11A in a chucking position P; stopper retraction means 8 for retracting the stopper to the outside in the diameter direction of the disk 11A during the disk playing; a guide member 3R or the like for guiding the side part of the conveyed disk 11A; and guide retraction means 8 and 9R or the like for retracting the guide member to the outside in the diameter direction of the guide member 11A during the disk playing.
