EXTERNAL APPARATUS CONNECTING SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF CONFIRMING CONNECTION OF CONNECTED HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm that there is no abnormality in connection of wiring from an external apparatus even in state where an external apparatus is not connected, without adding an exclusive signal line.SOLUTION: A connection detecting terminal 43 is provided in an apparatus side connector 40 of an electronic apparatus 10 in order to detect whether a start end connector 51 of a USB harness 30A is connected or not, and the terminal is normally brought into a non-conducting state with respect to a grounding terminal 41GND, and when the start end connector 51 of the USB harness 30A is connected, the connection detecting terminal 43 is brought into a conducting state with respect to the grounding terminal 41GND. In a terminal connector 52, in order to detect whether the start end connector 51 of a USB harness 30B or a harness side connector 55 is connected to it or not, a power supply terminal 52V is normally conducting to a grounding terminal 52S, and when the start end connector 51 of the USB harness 30B or the harness side connector 55 is connected to it, they are not conducting to each other.
