STENCIL PRINTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing apparatus that reliably fixes a set value and achieves power saving, by providing a print pressure adjusting mechanism with one way lock mechanism to thereby cut the excitation of a stepping motor being a drive force after being locked.SOLUTION: The stencil printing apparatus executes printing by rolling and pressing a set-up master on an outer peripheral surface of a print drum 1 and by transferring ink supplied from the interior of the print drum 1 to a sheet-like recording medium. The apparatus has a rotation transmission mechanism (large diameter gears 8 and 9, etc., and small-diameter gears 8a and 9a, etc.) for transmitting the rotation of a stepping motor 11. Also, the apparatus is provided with the one way lock mechanism (lock arm 13, and lock one way gear 15, etc.) capable of locking the rotation transmission mechanism. Consequently, after the rotation transmission mechanism is locked by the one way lock mechanism, the excitation of the stepping motor 11 is cut.
