Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing L-amino acid, which is further improved compared to before, by a fermentation method using a substrate that contains ethanol.SOLUTION: For producing L-amino acid, a bacterium, which belongs to the family Enterobacteriaceae and has an L-amino acid-producing ability, while being modified so as to have a reduced ribonuclease G activity, is cultured in a culture medium that contains ethanol as a carbon source, so that L-amino acid is produced and accumulated in a culture, and then the thus-produced L-amino acid is collected from the culture.
