RANGE HOOD FAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood fan which automatically operates linked with the use of a heating cooker and automatically adjusts an exhaust ability in accordance with use conditions of the heating cooker.SOLUTION: The range hood fan includes: a discharge port installed in the periphery of a heating cooker and communicating with the outdoor; a suction port sucking air; an exhaust fan connecting the discharge port and the suction port in a ventilation passage; and a thermistor for detecting temperature in the periphery of the hood, at a hood part 5a; a thermoelectromotive force type temperature sensor measuring temperature near the top plate of the heating cooker; and a control unit controlling the operation of the exhaust fan. The control unit compares a temperature obtained by converting the last detection signal of the thermoelectromotive force type temperature sensor with a temperature obtained by converting the next detection signal detected after a given time period, calculates the compared result T, corrects the T based on a temperature detected by the thermistor to calculate the temperature rise value of a pan placed on the top plate, and controls the exhaust fan on the basis of the temperature rise value of the pan.
