PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sink capable of preventing stored articles such as a detergent and a sponge stored in a storage recess from being fully exposed to view, usable without applying water to the stored articles, enabling the easy cleaning of a partition member, and capable of preventing the aesthetic appearance from being impaired by neatly storing the partition member.SOLUTION: A cove-like recess 2 opened to the front and upper sides is prepared on the rear side wall of a sink 1. A partition member 3 formed of a surface plate is detachably arranged in a front opening of the recess 2. The partition member 3 extends over the full horizontal width of the front opening of the recess 2, and the front face of the partition member 3 is continuously almost flush with the inside surface of the sink 1 on the left and right outer sides of the recess 2. Engaging means engaging with each of the left and right side surfaces of the recess 2 is provided at each of the left and right ends of the backside of the partition member 3. A step part 8 on which the edge of a receiving plate 6 is mounted is provided on the inside surface of the recess 2.
