Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a viewer to view digital broadcasting after interruption at the viewer's convenience while keeping use permission information when the digital broadcasting with the use permission information is interrupted during viewing.SOLUTION: A digital broadcast signal recording/playback device comprises temporary recording/playback means 130 and a management section 121 which manages an elapsed time from the start of recording. When temporary recording of digital signals is started by the temporary recording/playback means and the start of playback is instructed after a certain time elapses, on the basis of the elapsed time from the start of recording managed by the management section, the digital signals recorded in the temporary recording/playback means are played back until a predetermined time elapses from the start of recording.
