Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary light for an imaging device capable of being attached to lenses of varied diameters and types and meeting the needs of a variety of illumination patterns.SOLUTION: An auxiliary light for an imaging device used for imaging by being attached to the imaging device comprises: unit luminous bodies provided with semiconductor light-emitting elements; means to connect a plurality of the unit luminous bodies; engaging means to engage at least a part of the unit luminous body so as to be detachable to an outer circumference section of a lens of the imaging device; a control unit to supply the semiconductor light-emitting element of the unit luminous body with electric power and to control light emission of the semiconductor light-emitting element in response to an operation of a user.
