PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of presenting theft prevention effects without unnecessarily requiring a user's time and labor.SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus which has Internet connection function includes a storage part (for example, a memory 11) for storing product identification information provided uniquely to each product and a control part (for example, a system controller 10 and a network connection part 15) for reading out the product identification information from the storage part, generating a stolen product identification request signal including the product identification information and transmitting the signal to an external server via the Internet. The control part checks whether the electronic apparatus is a stolen product or not by using a reply signal from the external server which responds to the request signal.
