Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container that can be easily pierced by a straw and whose contents are hard to be leaked or decomposed because of breakage of the container until opening, and to provide a lid that can be used for sealing the liquid container.SOLUTION: The liquid container includes at least a base material layer and a barrier layer, and the base material layer is provided with a cutting section wherein it is partly cut to piercing the container by a straw. Furthermore, the base material layer is preferably not removed in the cutting section thereof. The liquid container also includes an opening and a lid for sealing the opening, and the cutting section provided in the base material layer may be provided in the lid.
