CONVEYOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor that is manufactured in roll forming where flexible molding is possible, whose bending is possible by applying only constraint from the outside without generating any twist, inner creases, and buckling, is light in weight, and whose shape has a precision conveyor step traveling rail curved section, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The curved section of a step traveling rail 5C is composed of a step traveling rail 5C by allowing at least either of a short side and a long side a hollow structure and saves the weight of the conveyor. Openings 17 are formed on a wall of the hollow structure and the wall is attached to a frame 21 with bolts 22 that are put in the openings 17 at appropriate distances. Twist, inner creases, buckling and the like caused by a concentration of stress at the time of bending process by only the constraint from the outside by the roll are suppressed from being generated by forming the roll used to manufacture the curved section of the step traveling rail 5C having a hollow structure into the shape that suppresses deformation causing the stress concentration generated at an angle of the step traveling rail 5C at the time of the bending process.
