Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo-charging apparatus which achieves a compact layout around an engine in a sequential turbocharger.SOLUTION: The turbo-charging apparatus includes a first turbocharger 7, a second turbocharger 8, an inter-turbine passage 41, a first bypass passage 43, and a regulate valve 44 for opening and closing the first bypass passage. A turbine shaft of the first turbocharger and a turbine shaft of the second turbocharger are arranged substantially parallel to each other. The inter-turbine passage extends substantially straight from an discharging portion of the first turbocharger turbine to the second turbocharger side when viewed from axial directions of the turbine shafts of the first and second turbocharger, and is connected from the tangential line to an outer circumferential part of the second turbocharger turbine. The inter-turbine passage and the first bypass passage are arranged in an adjacent manner in the axial direction of turbine shafts of the first and second turbocharger, and integrally formed with each other. |
