Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a Si-based material with good manufacturing efficiency.SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of pouring pure Si or pure Si and an alloy raw material X, comprising one or more elements selected from a 2A-group element, a transition element, a 2B-group element, a 3B-group element, and a 4B-group element of the long format of periodic table, in a carbon crucible 12 or a heat-resistant glass crucible 18 disposed in a carbon susceptor 16, heating the carbon crucible 12 or the carbon susceptor 16 by high-frequency induction heating, and dissolving the pure Si or pure Si and alloy raw material X in the crucible 12 or 18 to obtain a molten metal 14; and a step of obtaining the Si-based material from the molten metal 14 by using an atomizing method or roll rapid cooling method.
