The curling tendency correction apparatus 10 comprises: a guide lane 11 supported to face a manhole M1 and having a linear or nearly linear through passage into which the strip member with the reinforcing material is to be inserted; feed rollers 12 provided freely rotatable respectively in an inlet side and an outlet side of the guide lane 11; and a motor for rotationally driving the feed rollers 12. The strip member with the reinforcing material which is led to the through passage of the guide lane 11 is sandwiched by the feed rollers 12 and sent out to be elastically deformed nearly linearly.
