Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping material which can reduce the usage of a metal material, can make a joint portion smaller, and can reduce a man-hour of piping construction, and integrates a composite pipe with the joint so that a metal intermediate layer on an end face of the composite pipe may not contact with water flowing therethrough, and a method of manufacturing the piping material capable of obtaining stable connection quality between the composite pipe and the joint without causing a large variation by an environment or a person.SOLUTION: A joint body 21 is formed by injecting a thermoplastic resin into a cavity 61 in a state that a pipe end of the composite pipe 1 is exposed into the cavity 61 of a die 6, and at least an inner layer 12 of the composite pipe 1 is continuously fused with the joint body 21 on its interface in a circumferential direction, thereby integrating the composite pipe 1 with the joint body 21.
