Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic improved in heat resistance, moldability and chemical resistance; and to provide a molding applicable to various applications.SOLUTION: A carbon fiber-reinforced poly-4-methyl-1-pentene composite material comprises a functional group-containing poly-4-methyl-1-pentene, and a carbon fiber surface-treated so that a group reactive with the functional group of the functional group-containing poly-4-methyl-1-pentene is incorporated. The functional group-containing poly-4-methyl-1-pentene is preferably prepared by graft-modifying the poly-4-methyl-1-pentene, and the surface treatment of the carbon fiber is preferably a sizing treatment.
