Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complete an electronic element layer and an optical element layer on different planes in a simple and easy way, by the use of a semiconductor manufacturing process and a transmission technology concerning a totally reflected signal in an optical waveguide structure.SOLUTION: An optical transmission module 3 comprises a semiconductor substrate 30, a first film layer 31 formed on a first surface 301 of the semiconductor substrate 30, an electronic element layer 33 formed on a second surface 302 of the semiconductor substrate 30, to transmit an optical signal 01 after converting from an first electrical signal E1, and an optical waveguide structure 36 formed on the first film layer 31, including a first reflection surface 363, an optical waveguide structure body 360, and a second reflection surface 364. The optical signal 01 passes through the semiconductor substrate 30 and the first film layer 31, enters the optical waveguide structure 36, is reflected by the first reflection surface 363, is transmitted within the optical waveguide structure body 360, is also reflected by the second reflection surface 364, passes through the first film layer 31 and the semiconductor substrate 30, is received by the electronic element layer 33, and is further converted into a second electrical signal E2.
