Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material capable of achieving a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has a small average particle diameter of particles and properties of high output and battery capacity.SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for a positive electrode active material comprises processes of; a first process where a metal hydroxide slurry is obtained from a metal hydroxide made of secondary particles formed by aggregation of fine primary particles diffused in pure water; a second process where a carbon powder of 0.5 to 1.0 mass% of the metal hydroxide in the metal hydroxide slurry is dispersed by a ultrasonic wave in a hot water of 70°C or more to obtain a carbon powder slurry; a third process where the metal hydroxide slurry and the carbon powder slurry are mixed and filtered to obtain a mixture of the metal hydroxide and the carbon powder; a forth process where the mixture is provided with a heat treatment in an inert gas to obtain a mixture powder of the metal hydroxide and the carbon powder; a fifth process where the mixture powder is mixed with a lithium compound and baked in an oxygen atmosphere to obtain a lithium metal composite oxide. |
