The portion of the Nth reinforcing column 22 facing the upper part of the existing column 12 at the Nth story is connected to the upper part of the existing column 12 at the Nth story, and the upper end 2202 of the Nth reinforcing column 22 is joined to the portion of the existing column 12 positioned further upward than the existing column 12 at the Nth story with mortar M so as not to be moved in the direction approaching that portion and so as to be moved in the direction away from that portion.
