PRESS-FIT CONNECTOR TEMPORARY MOUNTING DEVICE AND PRESS-FIT CONNECTOR TEMPORARY MOUNTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concern about a mounting technology of a press-fit connector, in further detail, about a technology for temporarily mounting a press-fit connector on a printed circuit board.SOLUTION: A press-fit connector temporary mounting device is provided with a hand for gripping the press-fit connector, a lifting mechanism for moving up and down the hand, a stage mechanism capable of positioning a substrate in a horizontal direction, a pin posture detecting means for detecting an amount of displacement of the pin by lowering the hand from a predetermined height, a temporary mounting determination means to determine the state as a temporary mountable state when the amounts of displacement of all pins are in a predetermined range, and as a temporary unmountable state when an amount of displacement of one of the pins is out of the predetermined range, and a connector insertion means for releasing gripping of the hand in case of being determined as a temporary mountable state, and for raising the hand in a state with the press-fit connector gripped in case of being determined as a temporary unmountable state.
