ALARM DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm device which is simple in structure, easy in handling, and excellent in the accuracy of an alarming operation, and does not require periodical maintenance. SOLUTION: An alarm device 10 is integrated in a part of a power supply path 12 with respect to an illuminating apparatus 11 having a light 11a which is lit according to power supply from the outside (commercial power source), and provided with: a measurement part 13 for measuring the lighting time of the illuminating apparatus 11; and an operation part 14 for blinking the light 11a of the illuminating apparatus 11 when the measurement value of the measurement part 13 exceeds a preliminarily set time (for example, 8 hours, 12 hours or the like). When any abnormal situation such as a disease or a serious injury occurs to a person who lives alone, and the illuminating apparatus 11 in use continuously is lit without being turned off, the measurement part 13 detects this state when the lighting time exceeds the preliminarily set time (for example, 8 hours, 12 hours or the like), and the operation part 14 blinks the light 11a of the illuminating apparatus 11 by repeating the intermittence of currents of the power supply path 12.
