When starting the engine 10 by the power during rotation of a rotary shaft 22 of the motor/generator 20, the power transmission control device of a vehicle makes the clutch 30 engaged according to a target engagement control amount at a time of the start, and controls the power of the motor/generator 20 so that torque fluctuation on the power transmission path accompanied by the engagement is suppressed. In the power transmission control device, the target engagement control amount at a time of the start or a correction value of the target engagement control amount is obtained according to an engine speed at a time of a target cranking period lapse of the engine 10 accompanied by the engagement of the clutch 30 at a time of the start.
