SOLUTION: The method for producing a hologram recording film comprises: (A) obtaining a layered structure 13 by alternately stacking M layer of photosensitive material precursor layers 11A and 11B (where M satisfies M of ≥2) formed of a photosensitive material and (M-1) of resin layers 12A; (B) obtaining M layer of photosensitive material layers 21A and 21B having interference fringes with a desired pitch and a slant angle from the M layer of the photosensitive material precursor layers by irradiating the layered structure 13 with a reference laser beam and an object laser beam; and (C) varying slant angles in the M layer of photosensitive material layers 21A, 21B to be different from each other, while maintaining the pitch on the surfaces of the photosensitive material layers, by irradiating the layered structure 23 with energy rays through one surface side of the structure 23 and then heating.
