SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and an electric motor transmits the torque of the internal combustion engine via a torque converter, a forward and backward clutch, an automatic transmission and a differential gear to a drive wheel, and is provided with: a first clutch for transmitting the torque of the electric motor to the internal combustion engine side of the forward and backward clutch; and a second clutch for transmitting the torque of the electric motor to the drive wheel side of the forward and backward clutch where the first and second clutches are arranged so as to face each other on the axis of the output shaft of the electric motor. The hybrid vehicle is also provided with: an oil pressure piston for operating the first and second clutches; and a clutch switching means for selectively fastening the first clutch when the oil pressure piston does not operate and fastening the second clutch by cutting the first clutch when the oil pressure piston operates by oil pressure.
