SOLUTION: When an electric power source is turned on, a top menu screen 25A is displayed by starting power supply to a reading part and a displaying part so as to display an image stored in a memory card, and when displaying of the image is indicated in the top menu screen 25A, an appreciative screen 25B is displayed. At a timing when switching from the appreciative screen 25B to a preview screen 25c1 is indicated, power supply to a printing mechanism is started; and when a printing button is operated during the display of the preview screen 25c1, the image is printed on a paper. Therefore, it is possible to prevent consumption of useless electric power caused by power supply to the printing mechanism while the image is displayed on the appreciative screen 25B, and it is possible to execute the printing smoothly in comparison with a case when the power supply is started to the printing mechanism at a timing of indication of the printing.
