SOLUTION: In the plane light source element having the light source 1, the approximately quadrilateral flat-plate-shaped light guide body 2 with an incident surface of light from the light source 1, and the emitting light control element which is arranged at an emission surface side of the light guide body 2 and is set up to be one surface perpendicular to the incident surface as a light-emitting surface and has an adhesion surface wherein a plurality of projected parts 3 for making light from the light-emitting surface of the light guide body go in a normal-line direction of the light-emitting surface are optically combined with the light-emitting surface of the light guide body 2, density for the number of arrangements of the projected parts 3 on an inner surface is enlarged by mutually combining parts of the plurality of projected parts 3 in the emitting light control element.
