VEHICLE OPERATING PEDAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a boss section, etc. of an operating pedal from overlapping with a tool space T or interfering with a neighboring member by using a simple means without stepping an intermediate lever, etc. or changing design on the output unit side, in an operating pedal device for vehicles with a first axis O1 pivotably supporting the operating pedal tilted therein. SOLUTION: A first axis O1 is set at a height position substantially intersecting with a centerline S of an output unit 26, an operating pedal 20 is placed such that an intersection of a pedal arm 19 and the first axis O1 substantially coincides with a centerline S, and thereby a boss section 21 is not displaced in the vehicle width direction even when the first axis O1 is tilted. Thus, overlapping of the boss section 21 and a support bolt 30 with a tool space T is avoided when a nut 46 is clamped to a bolt 44 of an output unit 26. Furthermore, placement positions, etc. of various members are determined based on the centerline S, and thereby the boss section 21, etc. get less likely to interfere with their neighboring members.
