Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic composition that is suitable for a stereolithography apparatus for casting cast parts, especially gas turbine engine parts. SOLUTION: The composition comprises: an about 50 to about 72 wt.% silicon dioxide; an about 10 to about 35 wt.% photocurable monomer; an about 1 to about 10 wt.% dispersant; and an about 1 to about 5 wt.% photoinitiator. The stereolithography apparatus 500 repeatedly draws data files that define a plurality of cross sections of a metallic mold apparatus for casting that represents gas turbine engine parts by drawing the cross section of the metallic mold apparatus for casting 45 on a ceramic filler resin layer with an energy source so as to form a substantially cured layer comprising a polymer binder that polymerizes a monomer and holds ceramic particles of the layer together.
