LINING MATERIAL CONTAINING ANTIBACTERIAL VINYL ESTER RESIN COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF LINING DRAIN PIPE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining material which can extend the life of a degraded drain pipe in a short period of time and at low cost and inhibit the generation of bad smell/unpleasant smell or mold over a long period of time by eliminating the need for scrapping and building the degraded drain pipe because it involves cut-and-cover and replacement construction, and to provide a method of lining using the lining material. SOLUTION: The lining material contains an antibacterial vinyl ester composition containing antibacterial zeolite. In this method of lining of the drain pipe, the lining material is applied to the inner surface of the drain pipe. As an antibacterial agent, silver ion is preferable. As an application method, a method of lining with the inside of the drain pipe being maintained under a negative pressure is preferable. Furthermore, it is preferable to apply a primer on the inner surface of the drain pipe in advance and then to apply the lining material for the drain pipe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
