PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which an amplifier of a base station can be prevented from breaks down while preventing an unwanted signal from being output from the amplifier. SOLUTION: A base station 1 includes: a backup power source 12; a voltage detecting section 13; a transmission signal generating section 16b for generating a transmission signal; a digital processing section 151; a D/A converter 153; and a radio section 154 having an amplifier 154a. The digital processing section 151 includes a digital filter 166 and stops input of a transmission signal to the digital filter 166 when it is detected in the voltage detecting section 13 that a backup voltage becomes lower than a threshold.
