The outer tube 20 is heated with the exhaust gas flowing in a gap 33 formed between the cover tube 30 and the outer tube 20 at a lower part of the muffling tube M, and the condensed water stagnated in the sound absorbing material 15, 16 is vaporized into steam with its heat and is discharged to the outside.
