SOLUTION: In the damage investigation work support system including an accident information database wherein at least case main information and task detailed information are stored and a retrieval result storage database where search results are stored, the accident information database is retrieved in accordance with a plurality of designated retrieval tasks, and detailed information obtained from the accident information database and the plurality of designated retrieval tasks are stored in the retrieval result storage database. A case list is generated from detailed information stored in the retrieval result storage database, and a selection part of a retrieval task is generated from the plurality of retrieval tasks and is displayed in a screen. Furthermore, detailed information of one retrieval task relating to one displayed case is acquired from the retrieval result storage database and is displayed in the same screen as the case list.
