VEHICLE MUFFLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle muffler that is effective for an accelerating tone tuning of a vehicle, and enhances merchantability of the vehicle by realizing generation of sporty and dynamic sounds. SOLUTION: The vehicle muffler has a speaker chamber formed inside a muffler housing, for generating sounds, by being vibrated upon receiving pressures of an exhaust gas which has flowed into the muffler housing. Preferably, the speaker chamber is formed by a partition attached inside the muffler housing. On the partition, an open/close valve for opening/closing a flow passage to the speaker chamber upon receiving pressure of the exhaust gas is provided, and the open/close valve is elastically supported by an elastic body at one side of the open/lose valve. In the speaker chamber, a thin sheet speaker vibrated upon receiving pressure of the exhaust gas is provided. The thin sheet speaker is elastically supported by the elastic body at both ends of the thin sheet speaker. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
