Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of lowering the temperature of discharged steam without increasing the electric power consumed in the rice cooker. SOLUTION: A steam discharge unit 90 includes: a steam discharge chamber 9 having a steam inlet 92b for making steam generated within an inner pot 2 penetrate into the chamber and a steam outlet 99 for discharging the steam; and a blower unit 80 for blowing air to the upstream side of the steam outlet 99 of the steam discharge chamber 9. The blower unit 80 includes: a turbine 70 disposed within the steam discharge chamber 9; a blower fan 81 driven with the rotational force of the turbine 70 for taking outside air into the blower unit and blowing the outside air; and a dividing/blower path 83 for guiding air blown by the blower fan 81 into the steam discharge chamber 9.
