Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane-electrode structure for solid polymer fuel cell, having a proton conductive film which is superior in proton conductivity. SOLUTION: The membrane-electrode structure for solid polymer fuel cell contains sulfonated polyarylene which contains a structural unit having a proton conductive group expressed by formula (1a) and a structural unit, having a heterocycle structure containing nitrogen as expressed in formula (2a) in a main chain. In the formula (2a), Ar31indicates a heterocycle containing nitrogen. Among single lines at the end part of the structural unit, one which does not indicate a substituent on one side means a connection with a neighboring structural unit. In the formula (1a), Y indicates, at least one kind of structure selected from the group of -CO-, -SO2-, -SO-, -CONH-, -COO-, -(CF2)1- (I is an integer of 1-10), and -C(CF3)2-; Z indicates at least one kind of structure selected from the group of a direct bond, or -(CH2)1- (I is an integer of 1-10), -C(CH3)2-, -O-, and -S-; Ar indicates an aromatic group having a substituent as expressed by -SO3H, -O(CH2)pSO3H, or -O(CF2)pSO3H (p is an integer of 1-12). Also m indicates an integer of 0-10, n indicates an integer of 1-10, and k indicates an integer of 1-4. Among the single lines at the end part of the structural unit, one which does not indicate a substituent on one side means a connection with the neighboring structural unit.
