description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for water treatment capable of oxidative decomposition of an organic matter, oxidative decomposition of a persistent compound in wastewater, and oxidation of ammoniac nitrogen, etc. by enhancing the activity of microorganisms. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for wastewater treatment, water to be treated is introduced from a raw water tank 2 to a mineral dissolution tank 9 and bran including useful bacteria is supplied from a microorganism supply unit 60 to a first microorganism cultivation tank 14. Minerals dissolved from an ore 10 in the mineral dissolution tank 9 and micro-nanobubbles from a first and second micro-nanobubble generators 84, 85 are introduced in the first and a second microorganism cultivation tank 14, 27, in which the microorganism is cultivated with the minerals as a nutrient source and activated by the micro-nanobubbles. The treated water including the activated microorganism and the micro-nanobubbles is introduced in an aeration tank 45, in which the water treatment performance can be enhanced by the microorganism activated by both of the mineral and the micro-nanobubbles.
