POSITION INFORMATION CONTROL SYSTEM AND POSITION INFORMATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information control system and a position information control method capable of accurate positioning of a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: A communication system 10 first obtains the terminal position information and the sector information of a mobile machine 100, and determines whether the terminal position information indicates outside of the sector area map S1, which is determined by the sector information. Then, when it is determined that the terminal position information indicates outside of the sector area map S1, the terminal position information is corrected onto the sector area map S1. Thereby, when it is determined that the terminal position information does not exist on the sector area map S1, the terminal position information is corrected onto the sector area map S1, and thus the terminal position information of the mobile machine 100, which should have been on the sector area map S1, can be more properly corrected.
