Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material in which oil resistance and plasticizer resistance of a recording part are improved, and generation of background fogging even in storage storing under a high temperature and high humidity condition do not cause problems, and has excellent long-term preservability. SOLUTION: The thermal recording material includes a thermal recording layer, containing leuco dye and colorant, on a base material, wherein the colorant contains at least one kind selected from 4,4'-(3-(tosyl)ureide) diphenyl methane, and 4,4'-(3-(tosyl)ureide) diphenyl ether and also 4-allyloxy-4'-hydroxydiphenyl sulfone.
