Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide layer and an optical waveguide structure in which an optical circuit is laminated with high positional accuracy for an electric circuit, to provide a method of manufacturing an photoelectric hybrid substrate in which an electric circuit and an optical circuit are accurately connected using the foregoing optical waveguide layer or optical waveguide structure without impairing latitude of the manufacturing process, and to provide a photoelectric hybrid substrate manufactured by this manufacturing method and electronic equipment having such photoelectric hybrid substrate. SOLUTION: An optical waveguide film (optical waveguide layer) 10 is made by laminating a clad layer 11, a core layer 13, and a clad layer 12 in this order. The core layer 13 includes an optical circuit and an optical waveguide pattern 133 for alignment purpose, which are composed of a core part having a higher refractive index compared with the peripheral parts. The optical waveguide pattern 133 for alignment purpose has both ends exposed to the end face of the optical waveguide film 10, and serves as a reference for alignment when the optical waveguide film 10 is laminated on an electric circuit substrate 20.
