Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretch broken yarn composed of a para-type wholly-aromatic polyamide fiber, having a high tensile strength as the textured yarn, and exhibiting high retention of the strength based on the raw yarn; and to provide a method for producing the textured yarn. SOLUTION: The stretch broken yarn of the para-type wholly-aromatic polyamide has ≥18 cN/dtex of the tensile strength and ≥80% of the strength retention compared to the raw yarn before the texturing. The method for producing the textured yarn includes: reducing the difference in average single fiber lengths by improving the openability at the stretch breaking by carrying out the stretch breaking after attaching inorganic fine powder in a specific amount to the surface of the raw yarn of the para-type wholly aromatic polyamide.
