ROTATION UNIT FOR BASE OF TELEVISION RECEIVER OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and freely change a direction of a heavy television receiver or the like and to reduce manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: A lower-stage spacer 3 and an upper-stage spacer 4 are assembled to a conical receptacle surface 2c of a base 2, and the lower-stage spacer 3 and the upper-stage spacer 4 are assembled by a pressing plate 6 and a fixing bolt 8 via a spring plate 7. Upon assembling the spacers, a television 16 is attached to a base 5 using mounting hardware 14, and the base 2 is attached to a mounting base 10. Since a rotation unit 1 receives loads on tapered surfaces 3a, 4a of the lower-stage spacer 3 and the upper-stage spacer 4, slides and rotates, it smoothly rotates a large load. High machining accuracy is not required when the rotation unit 1 is made of resin, thereby reducing the manufacturing costs.
