SOLUTION: This electronic device includes: a stem 10 as a base case provided with an element; a cap 20 as a metallic upper case jointed to the stem 10 in a state covered with the stem 10; a sealing hole 18 for evacuating the inside of a chamber formed with the stem 10 and the cap 20; and a sealing pin 30 as a sealing body having a getter material in a part inserted in the chamber from the sealing hole 18 for sealing the sealing hole 18 after the inside of the chamber is evacuated.
