description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling corner bead material having a quake-absorbing function which can prevent separation from a wall surface or a ceiling surface caused by an earthquake or the like and damage to the material itself, and is suitable as interior design after installation and is extremely easy to be installed. SOLUTION: The ceiling corner bead material is configured as follows. A lower end edge of a second slat material 2 is fitted into a loose-fitting groove formed at an upper side of a parting portion in a first slat material 1 which includes the parting portion laid along a connection portion between a ceiling and a wall body at its upper edge, and a protrusion formed at the lower end edge of the second slat material is prevented from slipping out by a retaining step formed in the vicinity of the opening of the loose-fitting groove. When the wall body and the ceiling to which the first slat material 1 and the second slat material 2 are fixed are relatively shifted, the first slat material 1 and the second slat material 2 slide the fitted portion independently following the movement of the ceiling and the wall body, thereby absorbing displacement distortion in the fixed part of the slat material.
