Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a blower, a heat exchanger and a gas piping that dominate many of the components forming a gas laser oscillator, pause a large obstacle to the reduction of volume and cost cut. SOLUTION: The gas laser oscillator includes a casing 19 having laser gas arranged in the inside; discharging electrodes 23, 24 arranged opposite in the inside of the casing 19; and a partial reflection mirror 26 and a reflection mirror 25, which are arranged opposite in an optical axis 20 direction of laser outside the casing 19 from the discharging electrodes 23, 24. The casing 19 has a space of a diameter larger than that of the discharge space 21 to the laser gas by the discharging electrodes 23, 24 in the inside; a plurality of cooling fins 27 extending in the direction of the discharging space 21 at intervals in the direction of optical axis 20 of the laser; and a passage of a cooling medium is further provided. Thus, gas convection is generated due to the a rise in gas temperature caused by discharging and a decrease in the temperature caused by cooling, and this enables circulation of the laser gas.
