BRIDGE INSPECTION DEVICE AND BRIDGE INSPECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weighted bridge inspection device capable of inspecting easily and quickly an under face of a bridge, easy in assembling work and installation work, requiring only a small installation space, and inexpensive in a manufacturing cost, and a bridge inspection method using the bridge inspection device. SOLUTION: This bridge inspection device is constituted of a base part arm 6 supported on a carriage 5 movable on the bridge and projected to overhang a distal end part to a sideway outside of the bridge, a rod holder 7 attached to the distal end part of the base part arm 6 and for holding a vertical rod 8 elevatably and turnably around a vertical axis, a horizontal arm 10 extended along a horizontal direction while fixing an intermediate part to a lower end part of the vertical rod 8, a camera 12 attached to one side of the horizontal arm 10, a balance weight 11 attached to the other side thereof, an elevator 9 for elevating the horizontal arm 10, and a display 13 for displaying a photographed image from the camera 12.
