When the exposure mode is set to any of a person photographing mode, a scenery photographing mode, and a sports photographing mode, the microcomputer 101 makes [A] the sensitivity automatic setting mode effective (ON) as the default setting, and prohibits [A] the sensitivity automatic setting mode and [B] the sensitivity automatic control mode from being made to be effective (ON) together.
