SOLUTION: The divider is equipped with a division rod 31 arranged in the vertical position of a machine body so as to have a division action on planted stems and culms, a fulcrum means 33 for supporting the lower end side of the division rod 31 rotatably and movably in the vertical direction of the machine body and a division rod drive mechanism 40 that has a division rod connection point 45a connected to a division rod 31 at a part positioned at the upper end side of the division rod than at a part connected to the fulcrum means 33 of the division rod 31 and drives the division rod 31 in a state in which the division rod connection point 45a moves while drawing a rotary locus T1 in the longitudinal direction of the machine body and in the vertical direction of the machine body.
